Die Vorbereitungen laufen auf Hochtouren

Nun ist es offiziell. Am 11. Mai 2024 wird zum zweiten Mal die CMI Reifnitz stattfinden. Diesmal wird die Veranstaltung jedoch größer und bunter als im Jahr davor. Neben einer Sternfahrt von Klagenfurt, Velden und Keutschach nach Reifnitz wird es auch die erste Fahrradmesse Kärntens geben. Die Ausarbeitung des Programms läuft auf Hochtouren, einige Programmpunkte sind jedoch schon fixiert.

Messe mit allem, was das Radler:innenherz begehrt

Von Messeständen, an denen lokale Fahrradhändler:innen ihre Produkte und Services anbieten über Fahrradstunts und Live-Musik bis zum Fahrradparcours für Kinder wird alles dabei sein. Auch für das leibliche Wohl wird gesorgt: Mobile Bike-Kitchens, sowie die lokale Gastro werden eingebunden.

Ziel: Nachhaltigen Tourismus in der Region ankurbeln

Die Organisator:innen hoffen sowohl Einheimische, als auch Besucher:innen aus dem Ausland für das Event begeistern zu können. Ihre Motivation: einerseits nachhaltigen Tourismus in der Region fördern und andererseits umweltfreundliche, gesundheitsfördernde Fortbewegung und Spaß am Radeln in den Mittelpunkt stellen.

Preparations are in full swing

It's now official. The CMI Reifnitz will take place for the second time on 11 May 2024. This year, however, the event will be bigger and more colourful than the year before. In addition to a rally from Klagenfurt, Velden and Keutschach to Reifnitz, there will also be Carinthia's first bike fair. The programme is currently being worked out, but some parts can be already announced.

Trade fair with all a cyclists needs

From exhibition stands where local bike dealers offer their products and services to bike stunts, live music and a bike course for children, the programme will have it all. Food and drink will also be taken care of by mobile bike kitchens and local restaurants.

Goal: boosting sustainable tourism in the region

The organisers hope to attract both locals and visitors from abroad to the event. Their motivation: to promote sustainable tourism in the region on the one hand and to focus on environmentally friendly, health-promoting transport and the fun of cycling on the other hand.
